About us
We are a Church of England (Voluntary Aided) School which means that we have a unique and direct link with the church. Our Governors have joint responsibility with the diocese and with the Local Education Authority for the day-to-day running of the school.
In a smaller school, close and caring relationships between age groups can be more easily established. At Rackenford we pride ourselves on creating a supportive structure within which children can develop confidence and independence.
We value highly the important link which exists between home and school, knowing that children thrive in a co-operative atmosphere. With this in mind, we welcome any opportunity to talk with parents about any aspect of their child's development.
